    Default Happy Thanksgiving, MKF!

I think that we can all agree that this year--2016--has been a tough one for Michelle and for many of us. I would like to take this opportunity to give thanks to Michelle and to all of you on this forum. I don't know what I would do without you all. You are dear to my heart and always in my prayers.

    HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Happy Thanksgiving to you as well. Without all of your hard work, the forum would have ceased to function long ago.

Without teach23's efforts, I'm sure MKF would have been shut down years ago. We can all be thankful to her that MKF continues.

Happy (belated) Thanksgiving, everyone! I will always be grateful for Michelle Kwan and the MKF community. I know I tend to lurk, but I'll always love you all! <3

    Belated Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Now start exercising so you can overeat again in a few weeks!

A bit of my Thanksgiving dinner became stuck in my lower esophagus. As a result, at three the next morning, I ended up in the local hospital ER, and underwent an Endoscopy procedure to clear the obstruction. The technical term for what I had, I later found out, was a "Food Bollus." However, while in the ER, I kept wondering why the nurses kept talking about "Food Bullets."

To avoid a Food Bullet recurrence next year, I think I'll just pour some turkey gravy over scrambled eggs.

I hope that everyone on MKF had a more pleasant Thanksgiving, or at least stayed out of the ER.

    Rick,

Sorry to hear that your Thanksgiving took a bad turn. Glad to hear that you are okay.

    Hey Rick,
I'll avoid any Robert Goulet (gullet) puns.
But, it does remind me of Hamlet (Act 5, Scene 1):
...how abhorred in my imagination it is! My gorge rises at it.
    Hope you're feeling much better!

Thank you! I'm fully recovered and feeling fine. Now all I have to do is locate some recipes for turkey-flavored yogurt and turkey-flavored applesauce.
