Polina did great, I think. Even though the commentator on this online stream referred to her as the Bronze medalist from the US lol.

    Yuna looked effortless!

Gracie in this current skate group.

I saw the first part and then work got in the way . Oh well... I understand it wasn't Yulia's night but I believe the gold medal is within reach for anyone in the top six.

I disagree. I don't think Gold or Wagner could beat the top players. Maybe snatch a medal, but I don't think either could get the PCS scores from these judges to get to the top of the podium. The fact that Sotnikova beat Kostner and is this close to Yuna is laughable! So no, I don't see gold going to anyone outside of Kim, Kostner, Sotnikova or Lipnitskaia(whom while talented I also feel is over marked in PCS like Sotnikova.

I thought it interesting in the NBC broadcast how silent both Scott and Sandra went when Sotnikova's scores came up. To me their silence said it all!

ITA how Lipnitskaia is in the mix after that nasty fall on her 2 1/2 flip is beyond me. I mean I love watching her skate but she made a major, major mistake and the other gals didn't. She is less than 4 points behind Gracie but beat her by much more than that in the long program in the team competition (when both were clean), leads one to think unless she mops the floor in the long program she will pull ahead of Gracie.
And you're right Scott and Sandra being silent during Sotnikova's scores. It was downright cheating how high they scored her. I think Scott and Sandra just don't want any more controversy to surround figure skating and possibly "tarnish" the sport, especially after they were criticized by some for blowing the whistle in SLC. They are a little gun shy.
This judging panel is ridiculously pro-Russian and will do anything to put as many Russians on the podium as possible.

I think Scott and Sandra not saying a word about Adlina's scores was very interesting. My grandfather always said "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all." I think that explains their silence.
