Default NBC Olympics Live Extra app

Is anyone else watching the team event live this morning?

I keep losing the video feed which is so frustrating. At least I can hear the commentating.

But it was nice to catch glimpses of the skaters' programs.

After much frustration registration early Sat. a.m. registrating for NBC Olympic online, I finally got it. Then I ended falling asleep only to wake up for a moment to get a glimpse of Ashley Wagner's short skate. Then, I realized that I have the NBC Sports channel which is showing the skating live as the online after I read that as long as you have MSNBC and CNBC in your cable pkge, you'll be able to get the live skating online and also be able to have access to NBC Sports channel. So, finally taped this am team skating. Oh well, I'll still watch NBC's version or tape delayed skating tonight again (just got done watching earlier today's taping) and still want to see it in prime time withall the commentating from Scott and Sandra. I remember reading way ahead before the Olympics started, that I need to check if I will have access to 404 NBC sports channel but completely forgot. Now, I can watch the rest of F.S. in full with all the disciplines. I never had acess to Universal Sports TV channel in my cable pkge before so now I have NBC sports channel. YES!

I really, really miss Universal Sports. They used to broadcast the skating without commentary--it was wonderful. I could hear the music and not be annoyed by all the inane chatter. Really, I can see for myself when a skater falls, and I really don't care what their cat's name is.

I agree. I am very sick of Tara and Johnny Weir's chatters...they are so immature and trashy and classless. Can't NBC see how irrelevant their chatters are? I watched the Gala exhibition and the two British commentators (wish i know their names) are super. They let the viewers enjoy the performance and only say their views/comments before and after the performance. And their language and choice of words are sophisticated. Unlike Tara and Johnnie's are so trashy. They think they are the fashionistas of this Olympic event....excuse me, they are two brainless trash queens.
