Thanks synnabun! I have tickets for both the reception and ceremony, so you can take the "?" off of my name :-). US Figure Skating responded to my question and told me that the reception is family friendly, so if you guys see someone wandering around with 2 little girls, that'll be me!

Now I feel gutted that I don't get to go to the reception. But hey, any idea on whether a "guest" is another 100 or does it just come with it?

The tickets are individual; I tried to go through the checkout process just to test it.

I'm not yet confirmed - I only have my ticket to the reception. Once I have my airplane ticket to San Jose, you can take the "?" off my list. Also, I can only attend the reception. I have to fly to Seattle in the morning, the day of the induction. So maybe you should put "reception only" once I * crosses finger * confirm.

You will be beside me, I am seat 3. I saw someone else I think in section 120, row 1. The mens's short I bought at first thinking it would be then is in section 114. Since section 120 is at the end of the arena, I am really hoping stuff doesn't happen all the way at the other end!

God forbid my plane run late, it says tickets for reception must be picked up in hotel lobby by 4 PM Friday. I almost wish I had only booked for the reception Friday night, this is costing a lot more than I really had to spend right now but then I've never been reasonable when it comes to Michelle.

I've read other places about others not being inducted but Michelle really does deserves her own party. There is no other legend like Michelle. This will only happen once, so no regrets.

Forgive me that I still don't quite understand. I'm still waking up this Saturday morning. So guests are included with the admission, and if I bring 2 people, $100 flat pays for all of us?

    Thanks.

$100 each, nothing is free/included/additional. The guest ticket must be paid for.

I'll be there for both events.

Usually these on ice ceremonies are pathetically dull and uneventful. I'm hoping more planning goes into this one so there's a little more celebratory feeling, maybe with a slide show a la Jim Mckay's at 2005 Marshall's. I hope that Kwan fans can show their joy and pride with posters, banners and let it rain teddy bears or whatever you consider appropriate. This is a big moment for Michelle and her loyal fans.

I'll bring a banner and a stuffed animal

You can take the "?" off my name. I am going to the reception. I don't have tickets to the induction/ladies final yet, but I will, lol. I keep crossing my fingers hoping the airline princes go down though

Thanks to a generous gift from Solidarity, I may get to go to the reception. That is if the ticket comes in the mail. *crosses fingers*

I got my ticket to the reception. I still can't decide whether or not to go to any of the skating events. If I do it will just be ladies LP (of course!). Love you guys! I can't wait to see you all!!! It's been a long time.

Anyone want to try to sit together at the ladies LP, if we can? Let me know!
