Thread: Nationals tickets in the mail!

Default Nationals tickets in the mail!

Tickets went out last week! They told me when I called about getting a bus pass that I found out I couldn't get because there was a deadline I didn't know about. I was hoping they would be here now so I could rest easy. My mailman has trouble getting mail delivered to the correct address at times. Has anyone gotten there tickets yet?

Our tickets are at "will call"...because we couldn't figure out how to buy them online without getting the "international will call" option for delivery. So we'll be picking up ours at the arena.

According to some folks at FSU the tickets did go out on the 13th and some people who live in NC got them on the 14th.

Ok I was wrong actually...they went ahead and sent them to us. I'm in NC...and my Mom called yesterday saying she got our tickets. So they're on their way She said they're really pretty.

I guess there is some sort of activity place with a mini-rink, and other things, that people can peruse when they aren't watching skating. It said something about it in the brochure. It sounds like something for people with younger kids to go to. I've not been to a Nationals before, so I have no idea what it is.

I also didn't realize the weekend package got you in to the practice sessions that weekend. That's pretty cool (I am secretly hoping to meet Frank Carroll somewhere so I can get his autograph lol)

Received my Nationals tickets today. They came regular mail in a large (11 x 14ish) envelope. Inside was a small envelope with my bus pass. The practices are open to the public so there is no separate practice pass for all event ticket holders. The practice rink is in the same complex and that is where fanfest will be held. Fanfest usually involves items for sale like books, skating outfits, interviews with skaters, autograph sessions, etc.

I got mine today. I'm hoping to get a bus pass. I didn't know they had to be ordered before Dec. 1 so I'm on the waiting list. They are pretty. They have a pictures of all of last year's champions EXCEPT Rachael. Instead that put Ashley! Go figure.

My husband told me that they came on either Friday or Saturday (17 or 18) and he's in Minneapolis. I got this email from him saying "WE HAVE TICKETS! YEE-HAH!"

Hang in there, everybody, they are coming!

I've just started looking into going to Nats. It looks like you can only buy a week-long parking pass for $50? Is the bus you are talking about the shuttle bus? I'm trying to figure it out -- I live in NC and would probably drive over for one event, ideally men's long or gala, I think.

I think you can pay a daily parking fee at the gate. They have passes so people don't have to pay daily. I'm still hoping for a shuttle pass.

Thanks -- I should probably call the arena and sort out the parking situation before I buy a ticket. Not worth it to park elsewhere and take the shuttle for just one event.

It is past the deadline to get a shuttle pass. It would be cheaper for you to just pay for that one day of parking. My sister goes to events there frequently and even though they say you can't leave and come back with your car the same day she said they don't really enforce that. I wanted a shuttle pass just so I wouldn't have to deal with traffic, but oh well.

My Mom and I are driving over from Raleigh on Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday. We're trying to decide if we should just pay for parking each of those days, or buy the 55 dollar parking pass on ticketmaster.

Ok found out that daily parking is 7 dollars until Wednesday. After Wednesday it goes up to 10 dollars a day. So if you only have the weekend package, you're better off paying the daily 10 dollars rather than getting the week long 55 dollar pass. You can go in and out with your daily pass as much as you need to.

I can't wait to read everyone's reports and reviews. I hope you all have a fantastic time at Nationals! Wish I was going, too.
    Maybe next year.
