Obama fans are getting really desparate. Now they're resorting to Watergate-type measures. It's pathetic.

Isn't hacking into somebody's email against some law? If not, it should be.

Great article on the demise of the Democratic Party and throwing the Clintons under the bus, all in the name of HW:

I like how you said Obama fans were doing this, but the article doesn't even mention Obama's name. Plus, it was some gossip site that published the hacking. I think it is despicable that someone would hack into someone's private e-mail address. Regardless of who did it, it's wrong. That being said, it seems like you're making a huge generalization as to the state of mind of Obama supporters. And that's a very scary thing in itself. I know I'm not feeling "desperate". (And why on earth would I even want to know what's in her private e-mail account. Eccch!)

Yes, we're officially back in business.

The fact that this action was directed at Palin who is the number 1 target of the Obama faithful right now, and HW and Biden's e-mail accounts remain in tact, makes me think it's an Obama supporter gone wild who's behind this, but of course that's merely conjecture.

As a bright star of American cinema Chevy Chase opined, he hopes SNL "decimates" Palin--that's the Hollywood front. This e-mail hacking is the cyberfront.

Default Obama tells supporters to get in the faces of non supporters

    http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/articl...&type=politics

In Elko, Obama tried to anticipate his critics and called on the crowd of about 1,500 to sharpen their elbows, too.

"I need you to go out and talk to your friends and talk to your neighbors. I want you to talk to them whether they are independent or whether they are Republican. I want you to argue with them and get in their face," he said.

"And if they tell you that, 'Well, we're not sure where he stands on guns.' I want you to say, 'He believes in the Second Amendment.' If they tell you, 'Well, he's going to raise your taxes,' you say, 'No, he's not, he's going lower them.' You are my ambassadors. You guys are the ones who can make the case."

Yeah, just like they did to intimidate and bully people to win illegal votes at the caucuses.

Yikes. I won't put a McCain/Palin bumper sticker on my car for fear it will get keyed or worse. It's like Sopranos' style politiks with the fanatic sector of Obamaites. Scare us into voting--threaten riots if he doesn't get elected. Maybe I'll build a bunker to hide in on election night in case HW doesn't get elected.

Get in their faces and argue? Isn't that harassment? People can be arrested for the juvenile behavior he is encouraging.

The whole celebrity gig may have raised $9,000,000, but I think it could backfire and turn off voters Obama is having a hard time winning over. I don't think Babs matters much. You either love her or hate her. I haven't met too many folks who are neutral. She backed and sang for Gore in 2000 and Kerry in 2004 and we all know how well that turned out.

She also backed and sang for Bill Clinton. Butt, Barack Obama is no Bill Clinton, he is no Hillary Clinton, he is no Martin Luther King, and he is no John Kennedy.

Of course based on the comment where BO encouraged his supporters to go out and get in people's faces, yes, I guess that $9,000,000 can be used to hire some more thugs to intimidate people. This kind of inflammatory garbage is why I don't open my front door when somebody knocks during any campaign season. I guess his campaign needs a new bumper sticker: Vote for Obama OR ELSE!!!

Oh, and I thought that Obama is supposed to be a great uniter? What is uniting about telling people to get in other people's faces? That would only really tick me off. If anyone dares to try this with me, I am going to tell them to stick their Obama buttons where the sun don't shine.

What a country. What a choice we have this year: A woefully inexperienced empty suit who can give a great speech, but who needs a teleprompter to talk and who believes he is entitled to the job of POTUS to the point of where he wants to get into the face of anyone who doesn't want to vote for him.

Then we have and elderly veteran who has experience, but honestly has had some health issues, and he has picked a VP candidate who has a lot of charisma, but who also has a very thin resume.

I keep going around in circles. I know there are a lot of arguments about women's rights, and Roe Vs. Wade and the supreme court. Allegedly, I should vote for Obama because he "said" he supports equal pay for equal work and allegedly he is more on the side of womens rights than McCain. I'm sorry, folks, but between the way Obama treated Hillary and the way he as flip flopped on so many issues that helped him take the primary, I don't trust a single word that comes out of his mouth anymore except, Uh.

And McCain has done some flipping and flopping of his own.

So I am to the point of where I don't trust any of the POTUS or VP candidates to do anything they promise. I am a voter without a candidate that I truly believe in.

(P.S. Sorry for typos and poor grammar. I'm too frustrated to try to be grammatically correct.)

P.P.S. I did see one brave soul today with a big clear sticker sign in her back window. It said:

    Read My Lipstick!

    Vote for McCain/Palin 2008

Seriously, I understand the weariness from a Democratic perspective, but I shudder to think what HW and his thug cronies will do if he gets in the White House. He promises the moon and the stars and hope, change and rainbows, but when he's asked what exactly that means, he gives a borderline incoherent answer and then changes it the next day after his advisers tell him he blew it.

McCain is strong in some respects and not so strong in others, but IMO he's head and shoulders above pseudo-intellectual elitist HW.

Would you mind to explain exactly what you mean by the words I put in bold, please? I sure would hate to read too far into what you may have meant.

Yes, and three posts in & there's an unsubstantiated bash that accuses Obama and/or his supporters of taking part in a felony.

By the way, posters have been asked to stay out of the "supporters" threads if they aren't actually a supporter.

Since this thread isn't supporting anyone, it by default is open to all.

OMG! grow up people. the posters in this thread are NOT going to speak glowingly about obama. if you can't take it, don't open the thread. there is NO REASON to come in here and defend the guy to the regular posters here, you will never change anybody's mind. you just look like a bunch of babies. not everybody is going to love obama in the way that the defenders obviously do...and that's ok! that's AMERICA BABY!!!

and moxie, if you see a bash that accusing obama and his mates of a felony, perhaps you should contact the CIA or the FBI or the secret service!! they can take care of it much better than the mods here at MKF can!

I definitely do not expect anyone in this thread to speak glowingly of him. I just find it hard to read through some of these posts and not challenge false accusations that seem to be aimed at me and other Obama supporters. I would never expect everyone to back Obama...and I'm okay with it. But I see no reason why I should have to pass by this thread. That being said, I will definitely think twice before reading it.

Please let me know when you find it.

Examples of Obama thugs and cronies --Bill Ayers, Rezko, that gentle American patriot Reverend Wright, and let's not forget Nancy Pelosi, Donna Brazile, Howie Dean and the other DNC cronies who railroaded Hillary in favor of worshipping at the throne of HW.

Yes, there are many minds here that are firmly made up. But there also are plenty of folks who visit MKF without posting & who might pick up incorrect information and/or deliberate lies. I am defending Obama for those people and for those people only.

Obviously, this thread was not created to speak glowingly about Obama.
But there is a huge difference between criticizing him and accusing his supporters of Watergate-type felonies. There is not one shred of evidence that anyone connected to Obama or the DNC was responsible.

Really, the hackers were very sloppy in how they left a very long source string at the bottom of the screen captures. This crime likely will be solved & the hackers named within a matter of days, if it takes even that long.

    Puce--I am happy to help.

    1. At the top of the Forum in the dark blue bar, find User CP and click on the link.

    2. In the left navigation panel, under Settings, you will see Edit You Ignore List. Click on that link.

    3. Where it says: "Add a member to your list" type in the first few characters of the screen name you wish to ignore, and once it can figure out who it is, you will see a drop down list and you can select the name.

    4. Then click the OK button.

    5. Make sure that user name is in the list and "checked". Then you click Save Changes.
