Default Having trouble with my triple axel

Last year, I landed it in competition every time I tried it. This year, I'll nail it in practice and in warmup. Then when I try it in competition I overrotate and crash. Anyone have any advice?

Sorry I have no advice to give you other than it is very difficult jump but I am curious, do you have any clips of your competition. I would love to see you skating. 3 axle that is pretty impressive.

As posted eariler, a video may help. There are many different things that could be causing the overrotation or landing problem. From what you've written, it sounds like as soon as you spot the wall on the third rotation, start to kick out and open your arms for a solid landing edge. Does that make sence? I'm translation the overrotation to gymnastics though. I had a overrotation problem on my 2.5 twists myself. Opening the arms a little eariler really helped there.

Ugh...I hate to doubt your skills but if you've come here for advice on how to land a triple axel then you probably can't do one.
Michelle, she had me at 6.0!
