How about you tell us your's too? I wanna see!

It's hard. Her SP's are really complete and beautiful.

    1) The Feeling Begins.
    2) Romanza
    3) Spartacus

honorable mentions...Carmen, EOE, Rach and Dream of Desdemona.LOL.

*I wish we got to see more of Totentanz, I really liked it....sighs*

I know Rach got so many 6.0s, but I voted:

    EOE
    TFB
    Spartacus

EOE is just her stamp...her classic that made different appearances throughout the years.

TFB for the exotic factor, and the firey tension she brought to the performance

Spartacus for it's understated beauty and emotion

A man after my own heart. Exactly how I voted. EOE especially at Worlds 01 was breathtakingly beautiful and she was most beautiful along with her stunning dress. As you can see on my profile I live in EOE
TFB was so exotic and I just loved this program especially the costumes.
Spartacus too my breath away with its beauty and the music just takes me away. I wish to see that one again.

Only Heaven could send us such an angelic skater.

So that was one of the hardest things to do...ever!

My three are (in no certain order):

    1) Rach 98 [I love the emotion created on the ice and the connection to the music!!!]
    2) East of Eden [So timeless and elegant...I can't even describe how much I love this one.]
    3) Spartacus [This one is so passionate and bold. Love it!]

Ugh...The Feeling Begins is so close up there, because of its pure greatness. I need to review some of her older short programs, though! Hmm...what a fun thread.

Michelle does such a wonderful job making you forget that she is in a competition that when she skates a short program it seems like seconds instead of a few minutes. This was hard to choose but I did it and I think again I did it as to my favorite music.

    1. East of Eden - I agree with scootie12 this music has Michelle stamped all over it. I love the flow of the music and the jumps were in the right place.

    2. The Feeling Begins - I love this short also because of the music and the feel that Michelle give to the audience. The footwork.

    3. Spartacus - Her eyes at the beginning of the program just brings you into the program and makes you forget whatever else is happening around you. I still cry with joy when I watch a lot of Michelle's programs, short or long.

Michelle is the MASTER OF PASSION she knows how to make the audience become a part of the program not just with eyes but with the whole body.

I think the music for East of Eden and Spartacus fit Michelle best, but I LOVE how she skated to Rach 1998 (which is what I voted for). TFB is another wonderful SP because it was a different direction for Michelle's skating.

can you add a "All of the above" as one of the choices? (i'll only vote one if that one is on there, i promise!!!)

    Romanza
    Rach 98
    Fate of Carmen

With Dream of Desdemona and The Feeling Begins coming in a close 4th and 5th.

I just love Fate of Carmen and I think it is so underrated. She owned the ice with that program and it always gives me chills. Not to mention it was a departure from the innocence aspect of her skating, which was kinda cool

That was one of the hardest questions I have ever been asked!

    For me......
    3. East of Eden
    2. Feeling Begins
    1. Rach 98'

I picked East of Eden because the best SP she ever did IMO was at Nationals when they were here in Boston but all of her early ones were amazing.

    This was tough!

I love Michelle's East of Eden, no matter what form she's skated to it in - exhibition, short program, etc. However, the music cut for the short program version was so jolting towards the end that its always kind of marred it for me.

So, that is why I didn't choose EOE as one of my 3.

I chose, in no particular order:

Rush - which I think has always been highly underappreciated
    Rachmaninoff 98- absolutely classic Kwan!
Romanza - I think its her first short program masterpiece.

If I could have chosen more I would have included:

Dream of Desdomona - which has the most beauiful short program footwork sequence I think I've ever seen Michelle do
A Day In The Life - because it was so non-skating refreshingly different
The Feeling Begins - because it was nothing but pure, intense feeling throughout - every time she performed it.
    I believe!

I remain totally in AWE of Michelle Kwan.

This season just hasn't been the same without her.

I miss seeing her on the ice.
    I think I always will...
    IF...she steps onto it again
    Oh...my heart stand still....

    Number 1: Dream of Desdemona

    Number 2: TFB

    Number 3: EOE (at Worlds)

Actually, I like every one of MKs SP's - except Rush. I actually think Rush was a poor choice of music for her, and I don't like the choreography at all. Actually, I don't think its good skating music.

Michelle is the Queen of the Short Program!
