If it's alright handle, I'm going to rename this thread the Official Sasha Cohen journal thread. If it's at all possible, I give you the golden crowd to rename the thread when her journal has been updated =D to: "Updated (11/16)" or something like that

I didn't know Sasha was skating this year, or is she just doing this one appearance?

She is skipping GP, that's all she's stated so far.

I figured we'd get a journal from her this week. Nice of her to acknowledge specific fans. I'd like to see a pic of those dolls!

I see she finally changed the date of her last journal to September!

Fun journal. It's always nice to hear from Sasha and it's nice that she acknowledges her fans. She left out some details though.

I’ve had several weeks of good practices and am in really good shape.
Who is she practicing with? No mention of a coach.

I thought it would be good to have a new dress because I have changed.
Hmm...physically or mentally? In what way?

It's nice that she's at least getting a new dress, that blue/yellow Dark Eyes costume was so busy it looked like something stitched together with materials out of a dumpster.

Hey Kwanluv, you will have to read her other entry. It almost sounds like this will be her only competition b/c she is taking acting classes. I could be wrong but, she seems to be leaning towards wanting to act.

I think in an earlier entry, Sasha said something about joining up with Nicks soon after Japan COI to get ready for Campbell's.

I wondered the same thing...she was wearing that blue one at COI Japan, so it can't be too small (she has put on some healthy weight and looks fabulous lately, I hope she doesn't return to her scarily skinny look of last season.) I did not like the blue scarf/dress last year. I like when pieces flow and there is symetry and that dress was too distracting. I prefered the red one from 2004-05 season.

I liked the blu dark eyes costume. Wasn't she supposed to look like a gypsy?

Do you think Sasha will get the short end of the stick ala MK did in 2005 when she opted out for the GP series? It seems that Kimmie and Mao are here to carry on the tradition...

Does that mean I'll have to change my user name to avoid confusion?Maybe I'll have to go back to my FSW handle:"Yitzhak Finnegan".

As to Sasha, she looks great with long hair!

New Journal 11/7. Sounds like she is still practicing & has 2 new programs. Are these competitive programs for nats, or exhibition programs I wonder. She certainly doesn't indicate she is preparing for nats, and you'd think she would say that if she had made the decision to get 2 new programs. We'll see.

My bet is they are exhibitions for the Vote In. I guess she forgot which station hosts "CSI"-isn't it on CBS not NBC?

I THINK the Today show is Live??? But the skating at Rockefeller Center with CA will be aired later on. Probably NBC is complying a bunch of skaters/singers from Rockefeller and will put it together as an Ice Skating special or something. Hasn't a different skater been on ice each week at Rockefellers?

Just visited rock center during my lunch break. According to them (and thay have been known to be wrong at times) Sasha will be on the Today Show at 8:45 am which be shown live and then she will be skating with Christina Aguilera sometime after 4 pm which will be taped for another time.

Other skaters to appear in the next few weeks on the Today Show are Sarah and Emily Hughes (next week), Kurt Browning (Dec. 1), Nancy Kerrigan, Belbin and Agosto and Brian Boitano. They are all scheduled to be skating on Fridays around 8:45 am.

I'm going to try to make it tomorrow if I can before work.
