i guess you can vote for two!! lol i didn't knnow that- so I voted for kimmies worlds Long program and alissa's skate canada long program. I was trying to pick between those two and shizuka's program but i thought you could only vote for one so i picked one and then clicked another thinking it wouold delete the other but i guess not!! lol

I almost gave it to Sasha's sp at the olympics but in the end I decided to vote other and say Bebe's national sp. There was so much excitment and energy to the program and I think it really took her skating to the next level. PLus she looked gorgeous in her outfit and was the only one without any mistakes or issues that night. Very much a crowning achievement for her thus far even though she did score higher a few weeks later with the program at 4CC and got above a 60 I think the whole moment and the way the audience reacted when she hit the double at the end made it such a wonderful performance.
Michelle Kwan's debut of her new sp Totentanz. In my opinion this could of won it all.![]()
awwwweeeee!!!! That was such an exciting day, I was thriled to finally see her SP! It is beautiful...
It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone. A.B. Giamatti
I'm a little confused. When I think "Best Program", I actually think what was the best choreographed PROGRAM.
But after looking at the list of options, I am assuming that this is actually BEST PERFORMANCE, or best executed program.
The best performance would probably go to Kimmie since she absolutely skated to her abilities and beyond. That only seems to happen to these young skaters who have absolutely nothing to prove.
However, I would say the best program of the year would probably be Sasha's Romeo and Juliet. If skated perfectly, that program could have been legendary.
I voted for Sasha Cohen-Olympics SP,Irina Slutskaya-Olympics LP,Sasha Cohen-Nationals LP, and Irina Slutskaya-Cup of Russia LP.I think Irina's 2005 worlds LP should be on the poll.
Your voice makes me tremble inside
And your smile is an invitation
For my imagination to go wild.

I can't choose between Shizuka Arakawa and Fumie Suguri.
I picked Kimmie's World LP. That was so exciting and she did such a fantastic. It made me enjoy watching skating.
I voted SashaCohen-2006 Olympics LP. I'm no fan of Sasha but, that program just made me cry that I wished she would have put out a clean long, just for her sake![]()

In my mind the best one was Michelle's Bells of Moscow at the Olympics. I can visualize it with the music and see her perfect performance to it and feel the audience roar as they jump to their feet in adoration.
Only Heaven could send us such an angelic skater.

Actually Shizuka Arakawa's performance at the Olympics was quite delicious !
