Default Michelle's hair - is it too long?

Too long? Seems to get in her face a lot when she skates. I don't remember seeing her hair this long since '98. I think I like her hair best when she had it in a bob and highlighted, back in 2002/3.

    Default Never!!

Her hair is beautiful!!! I wish mine grew that fast, as I am recovering from a short bob myself! I love Michelle's hair, especially long!

I think Michelle should wear her hair whatever length she feels is most attractive. That being said, personally I would like to see her wear it shoulder length and very straight. In competition, I would like to see her do variations on the bun----there are a variety of bun designs she could use other than the basic one she usually uses. I am sure if she discovers her hair getting in her eyes while she skates is a problem, she will do something to remedy the situtation. I think there have been times lately when it has gotten in her mouth, which I think would be distracting, but since her programs right now are not as technically demanding as usual maybe neither in the eyes or mouth concerns her.

Not too long at all. Beautiful long hair like hers is hard to come by anymore.

I love it when it's back in a ponytail ala the idol cheesefest in Dec.

I wish she would chop it short again, I think it would give her face a little more youth and take away from her little bit chubbier cheeks, as of late.

    ...Chubbier cheeks?

I don't know why she has to look younger. She's twenty-five and already looks younger than she is. It does look like she highlighted it recently though.

With all due respect, I don't believe Michelle's cheeks are 'chubbier' as of late, and besides if they were what's wrong with fuller cheeks? Better than her cheekbones sticking out IMHO. I think her cheeks look great as well as her hair.

And a shorter bob wouldn't take away from the supposed chubbier cheeks anyway. Everyone I know says my face looks fuller with a shorter haircut than longer hair. I find this to be the case with most people. Just my humble two cents..

Michelle's hair ranks up there with the most beautiful hair in the world. More of it is a good thing, as long as Michelle agrees and is liking longer hair.

Michelle has looked stunning in all her various hair styles and lengths.

One of the things I noticed every time Michelle skated by this past weekend at COI was how beautiful and shiny her hair was. I should have asked her what hair products she uses, because her hair is absolutely gorgeous!

Michelle's hair is beautiful! I hated when she had her hair cut boy-ish short. I liked the jaw-length from Wolrds TRV year. But I just hated looking at her when it was shorter than that and I'm glad she hasn't tried to repeat that look! Of course she should do whatever she's comfortable with! I like long hair though (have you seen mine?! lol!)

if she chop off her hair, it will show more of her chubbier cheeks instead.

Michelle's hair was about this long two years ago when she did Fallin in the white Vera dress for her exhibition at Worlds.

I love Michelle's long hair. When she appeared on "the View" last week, her hair looked beautiful. I love when she wears it in a bun. She looks so regal, like a ice princess.

Well, it always looks great. I'm sure she will do something about it if it gets in the way. When she was growing out her short 'do, she started pulling back the sides and top for comps( like 2000 Worlds). When asked why she didn't leave it down b/c it looked so good (as in Hands), she said she didn't like it being in her face when skated.

I love her long hair when she fixes like she did for OMO, where she parted it on the side and then pulled back the top and sides. I also like the low chignon, as opposed to the higher bun.

Remember when she did Salome - her mom and to braid her hair with yarn to get it tight enough to stay up (or something like that). I wonder if she'll resort to that next season or if she get some cut.

How exactly did she do this? Does anyone know?

    Thanks!

Yes, Michelle always has such a beautiful hair! No matter what kind of shades her hair gets (gold, red, etc.) and going through so many treatments, her hair always looks shiny and healthy. I've noticed that she went back to jet black the last season and now getting some lighter highlights--they are very subtle and beautiful.

It takes a very long hair to achieve such a high ponytail. So, no surprise for me to see Michelle having longer hair now. She must have already had very long hair last season.

no michelle's hair is not to long. i'm kinda waiting for it to grow even longer. i remember when she had very long hair in 98 and it was thick and beautiful. long hair looks very elegant i think. michelle did not match her short hair cut because she has a round face. she still looked good but i prefer the long hair and her natural color of black or dark brown. the darkness of her hair color brings out her features in her face.

I was also not a fan of the short hair. I like how it looks in her Biography interview, she looks so pretty.

I hope she keeps her hair that way, it gives me something to have in common with her-as I have VERY long black, straight gair myself.

while I do prefer her 2003ish hair, I also like how she did it for "On My Own."

I thought it looked so nice pulled back on the sides, and flowing in the back.

But I kinda miss the highlights/shorter version from the 2002/2003 years.

I completly agree...Michelle's long hair is so gorgeous and sexy and I hope she keeps it this way. She will have plenty of time when she is older to
    wear it short!!

I like Michelle's hair long, but it did look very pretty and somewhat more sophisticated when she had it shorter like this photo below when she co-hosted The View in 2003. They did a beautiful job on her hair and makeup for The View!

    Thumbsup

She could be bald as far as I'm concerned!!

I guess I'm old-fashioned, chauvinistic or whatever-but I prefer women to have longer hair.

Michelle has a round face? Somebody needs glasses.

TwinnerA - yeah that's what I meant, her hair on the View 2003 was gorgeous. They really did a great job there with her hair and makeup.
