MK skates at Disneyland *edited to include picture

I recently got hired for a job at the Walt Disney Travel Company and for training we had the difficult task of spending the past couple of days at the Disney parks and hotels for "research purposes" which basically means work is all fun and play. During our lunch break today at one of the "inn betweens" where cast members can eat, I noticed sports memorabillia on the walls first the Paul Kariya hockey stick and picture then the Golden Disneyland Hotel Skates with a picture of Michelle Kwan. The picture said something about Michelle giving the skates to the hotel in November 1995, so she was still a little jumping bean back then. It was such a pleasant surprise, I just wish I had my camera. I won't ever be working near that area, but maybe I can drop by sometime on one of my days off and snap a quick shot next time.

Oh, cool! You keep seeing all these neat MK stuff (this, the billboard...) That would be great if you can get a pic of it sometime!

I work at the park and eat at the "Inn Between" often but i've never seen this memorabilia there. I think it's at one of the other cafeterias throughout the resort (maybe California Adventure, hotels, or near TDA)? One of these days i'll go visit these sites. Hopefully I'll have my digital camera by then and I can post pictures.

It's at the "Hotel Cast Cafe" near the "Bonita" Disneyland Hotel. I believe they call it BOB....there's also one of the few team centers at this location so you should be able to find it easily.

I'll be working offsite from the Disneyland parks and hotels, so you'd probably have an easier time taking a picture since you'll be in the general area. Oh yea, what department are you working for?

Oh...I think I've been to that place once. I work in Cast Health and I remember they held a flu shot clinic nearby a couple of years ago. That's quite a walk from where I'm based but if i'm in the general area I'll have to remember to stop and look at her skates.

i wish the public could see it. i'm going to be in disney land this december because my school band is going to be in the rose bowl parade...prior to that parade we're marching on main street in disneyland.
