Thread: Cohen as "rockstar"

  1. #1

    Default Cohen as "rockstar"

Was it just me, or did Cohen call herself a "rockstar" right after the SP, as she was taking her bows? Anyone with lip-reading skills?

    If so, that was brilliant!

Just to make it clear, I am not bashing. I came across this article after reading the results of Sasha's skate. Here is a link to the article.http://www.deadspin.com/sports/winte...tar-156473.php

Yeah, that was clearly what it looked like she was saying: "Rockstar...yes, that's me." What was she saying right before she took a bow? "I'm a star?"

I think that's tragic. Where is she going to go when its all over?

I don't see Sasha doing something like that again. I really think she learned her lesson last night.

That article is nauseating and not necessary. Shame on them

That was funny. I had a flashback to the final scene in "Boogie Nights" where Dirk Diggler is standing in front of the mirror before his big comeback.

Immediately after she finished the program as she started to skate around and take her bow, it looked to me like she said "F**k ---!"

Swear. It looked like she said the F-word followed by someone's name. As a matter of fact, the F-word was definite. Her mouth formed that word. I'm not being mean, I'm dead serious. Go back and look. Whatever the second word was, it had two syllables. It almost looked like "Tara" or "Sarah" and both are plausible I just don't know why she'd say that. Maybe because they won gold.

In the K&C, after her marks and she saw she was in first, I thought she said "Right on!" or "Rock on!" Meh...don't really matter now does it...

We need someone who can read lips look at these clips. I don't know why, but, I always want to know what skaters are saying after their performances. I'm just morbidly curious I guess.

    Cohen said
    "right on!"

At first I thought she said bring it on, but after watching again it was clear it was right on.
Stand up and say you believe in Michelle only doubters and haters will criticize you if you do, and I will gladly make them look like the fools they are.

Don't click on that link. Along with them being mean about Sasha, they have said VERY mean and nasty things about Michelle in the past, and I wouldn't want to give them any hits.

I heard her say "right on" in the K&C, but out on the ice I thought I read her lips to say "rock star ... that's me" as well.

You got me on that Daisies. I can't read lips at all but she might have said that.

Me too! I especially want to know what Timmy and Irina say before each competition. THey both do a lot of talking to themselves. I wonder if it's prayer or some sort of positive speech they give themselves.

I read lips as I have a hearing impairment and that's what it looked like to me,"YES! I'm a rockstar!" I was confused and thought maybe I misread it, so I rolled it back. But she could have said,"YES! Right on!" Who knows...Just like at the end of R&J during Marshalls when she fell, she looked to be saying,"I'm dead!"

Remember when Michelle bit her lip following the LP in 2001 and everyone swore she said,"F---yeah!"

Thank you! That's pretty funny that she said that. I mean no disrespect btw. It's just funny to me.
