Happy Birthday, Scootie! What did SamChez buy you this year? ;O) @MichellianeKwanjuez Is Sparks still up to her OLD tricks? lol To answer your question, let's just say, it's good to have friends in high places. lol
This is my very first complaint I am bringing up to a moderator, so, I hope you don’t mind me doing this, Scootie12. What I don’t understand is why after you posted a warning message in the 09/08 Hersh thread, you didn’t bother to delete or edit posts thereafter written by Sparks that sounded like she was taunting me to respond to issues that weren’t related to the topic of the thread. I don’t know if someone else later posted something worse, but the posts I know you deleted were hardly worthy of deletion, IMO. I think I already know the answer, but I felt the need to let you know how I felt about you deleting my posts and others.
Thank you, Michael. You're a wonderful friend. Luv ya!
Happy belated birthday, Michael! Hope it was a good one -KJ-
Happy Birthday Scootie!!! I hope you have a very very wonderful day!!!
Scootie! get your skate fix and get your behind on the ice..not literally, but you know what i mean...LOL...I always enjoy watching ppl that an actually skate and do some tricks...I often surprise ppl when I compliment them on a finished jump or spin, cuz I know all the ice skating terminology, and of course i'm no skater...You should start skating for fun again and JUMP!
So you are controller.....that's an interesting contrast with the artistry and athleticism of figure skating...seriously. It must keep you well balanced (ah, a double pun!) I am not so balanced, and neither is our controller. He has no artistic side whatsoever; and I have no technical side. I am always thinking I would have been happier born about 50 years earlier - so I could have electricity, but no cell phones. Cell phones are too complicated for me. I went to Verizon to buy a new phone several years ago, and when they asked me what features I wanted, I told them I wanted "ON" and "OFF". No call directory, no messages, no jingling or singing, no flashing lights - nothing at all - just "On" and "Off." He said they haven't made anything like hat for ten years. My phone has continued to go off during gymnastics meets while I'm judging (I still don't know how to turn off the ringer), and other inopportune times. Finally, I gave it to my husband to use for a pager at the VA. I told him I would pay for it as long as he would carry it with him when he's out alone on the river with the dogs. I'm free again. The only place people can find me is at home or at work. The rest of my life is MINE!!! The one thing I do love is my Excel! I still can't work a calculator right. I'm sure people like me give you nightmares! But I can write a poem, make a souffle, indian bridle a horse, interpret federal rules and regs, plant a garden, and bathe my grandbabies. Life is good! Tell me Scootie - are you as mellow as you seem? Its hard to read people some times. I was glad to see that you might go back and test up (skating, that is). I have been meaning to say - do it... you will enjoy it. Just warm up really well. I went back to an adult ballet class when I was 38. The pain after 3 or 4 weeks finally overwhelmed me - but my body looked good!
hey Scottie!!!
Hi Scootie-rather than chat to the world at large I have a quick question--when do we need to contribute to MKF to keep this wonderful fan forum up and running? I haven't been able to do my share in contributing in the last couple of years but am now in a position to do so. Thanks in advance for helping me out on this.
LOL. I have been SOOOOO busy with the new job and new house and my MBA program. Then add in the extracurricular activities my middle school son has in band and student council, I am such a busy girl. I pop in now and then, but don't post as much. Never fear, I am lurking. Just stressed trying to make that B in microeconomics. UGH! Love ya Scootie Lisa
