How to Make a Donation
Donations are the primary way The Michelle Kwan Forum runs on to survive so we truly appreciate whatever members are willing to donate. Currently we have no system in place where donations/subscribers get special features, but if you have any suggestions, please feel free to contact us. It would be helpful to have some feedback in regards to what you guys might like to see subscribers or donators receive, as we have been brainstorming and have come up with pretty much nothing :).
There are currently three methods to donating.
- Directly to our Web Host, “A Small Orange” using Paypal
- Through Paypal
- Mail by Check or Money Order.
Grace deals with the payments to the web host, so the donations will go to her (if you are not using the the first option).
TO WEBHOST:
Our host, ASmallOrange.com has set up a useful tool where users can donate directly to them that will be credited towards our next bill. However, they only accept Paypal, so users wanting to use credit card or other means cannot use this avenue for donations: http://www.asmallorange.com/extras/donate/?id=5669
USING PAYPAL DIRECTLY:
Please make all PayPal donations to gracemkf [ at ] gmail [ dot ] com. (E-mail address is not written out in normal terms to prevent spam)
BY CHECK OR MONEY ORDER:
We prefer money orders because it is safer. If we had our choice we would find some way to accept credit cards. Unfortunately, we just do not have a system set up that can process credit cards. If you have to use a credit card, I would suggest donating through through Paypal, where they have an option to process donations using your credit card.
If you must use checks please make a note that it is unfair to us to have bounced checks as this will affect our credit if the check you send us bounces. Please make sure you are using correct checks and you have enough money in your account before you send out a donation.
Please send us an e-mail once you send out the check; Heather does not check the PO Box unless she knows that there is mail being sent there. Again, many thanks.
