Calendars for MKF From East West Bank! - UPDATED ON POST #62 for donators

As many of you know, especially those who attended Nationals and who ordered garments, East West Bank has graciously given the forum 1,000 EastWest MK calendars to distribute to members.

Many of those who attended Nationals received one, and everyone who ordered clothes from me will also receive one (so no need to put in a request if you ordered garments from me). Since I was mailing out clothes and bears anyway, we thought it best that we have the calendars be sent to me to mail to members of the forum as EW would not mail the calendars to everyone separately. It will not be until after that I will open them up to the rest of the members of the forum. No worries, I have more than enough to give out =)

I wanted to stay mum about it until after the clothes project was completed because I couldn't deal with all this money flowing in for MKF for different reasons, but I've decided its rather unfair to keep mum about this wonderful gift any longer, and I thought it would be best to at least announce it.

It sure is wonderful to be a Michelle Kwan fan : ) Thank you to East West Bank (you guys rock... everytime I drive by an EW bank I'm like - hey, East West Bank! ) And thank you to Michelle's team who arranged this gift for us

I will NOT be taking orders at this time, so PLEASE do NOT email me or PM me about them.
I will be waiting after this weekend after I've completed most of all the MKF Garment orders before I take on this endeavor of ordering and accepting money for s&h. I will be explaining the ordering process after I am ready to start accepting orders and after I have a better idea of how many calendars I will have left.

Oh my gosh! This is so super of them! I just was reminded of the calender since my new Narnia one jusst arrived and i sasid to my mom, "We still have to get the EW one", thinking eBay of course. So I'm thrilled that I may have a chance of ordering one from here. I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for your anouncement, Grace I don't want to miss out.

Just wanted to add that this reminds me of what Maxxis did for us. I told them that it was so generous of them to offer us the posters and that must be why the ever-generous Michelle chose to endorse them! Obviously, the same goes for EW!!

I saw a picture of when all those calendars were there plus all the garments and bears. Poor Grace's house looked like a warehouse.

Those who ordered garments and those who donated towards the new forum will have the chance to get the calendars first. After that, it will be on a first come first serve basis. But there will still be a lot available at that point, so yes, those who didn't order garments or donate will still get a chance.

Grace will post more information when she is ready to take those orders, but she just wanted to let everyone know about it right now.

Wonderful! I had emailed EW bank in hopes to get one and had not heard anything. I will be looking forward to receiving my garment order along with the awesome gift from Grace and EW.

I apologize for being unclear in my first post. Others can get the calendar, they just have to be patient as I try to finish off the clothes/bear order. There were definitely not that many clothes/garments orders, and they overlapped with a few who also attended Nationals (and donated).

It just occured to me. As nice and generous as it is of E.W. to give MKF 1,000 calendars, don't you think that it's probably Michelle and/or her "team" who asked E.W. to do it in the first place?

After all the things we've done and do for her, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if she was the one who put the bug in their ear.

So thank you to E.W. for the calendars.

Thank you to Michelle for thinking of the Forum.

And thank you to Grace for housing and eventually shipping all of the calendars.

Actually, if you read my post carefully, it does mention Michelle's "Team", as "they" arranged it for us... lol, everyone should know who that is But yes, many many hugs and thanks to them.
