Spokane, WA, 2010 Nationals?

The rep. I ordered my tickets from said tickets will be sent out no sooner than 60 days before the start of the championship.

anybody know if they have posted the times when things are going to be. I am going to go for the ladies, ice dance, and ex. and im trying to go ahead and schedule flights and such so knowing what time things are would help. I'm trying to go cheap as possible so that way I can still take a full course load 2nd semester. I'm willing to give that up though for skating lol. and if anyone has tips for being frugal through this whole thing that would be nice. it will be my first nationals!!!

I think that Spokane is allowing people to pick the general area they want so even though they don't have the tickets they do have an idea where their seats are located.

Thank you. That is the same type of information I have... I know my seat location, but don't have my tickets yet. When someone said they had their tickets, I just panicked and thought "Well, then maybe I don't have the right information and didn't order properly."

If I had to guess based on previous championships... I think the soonest we'll see something similar to a set schedule will be the mid to late fall of this year.

As far as flights go... I always leave the day before my first planned event and the day after the exhibition, should match your hotel reservation too. You may want to make sure you've got hotel space secured, or you may just be wasting your time, lol!

The Spokane LOC handed out a tentative schedule for 2010 when they were in Cleveland. There aren't any times listed, but it does show days when events will take place.

You could also try contacting the Spokane LOC thru their website and see if anything more definite is available. Just remember - this is tentative - and may change and even change more than once. You might want to hold off on airline reservation until June.

According to this article "State leaves 2010 skating event out of budget" - Source, KXLY.com ticket sales are close to the 100,000 sold mark already and they are expecting to break their 125,000 record from Spokane's Skate America hosting.

As the article's main topic states.. Washington State legislature went back on it's promise to match half of the $1.2 Million Dollar bid settlement agreed to by U.S. Figure Skating and the Local Spokane Organizing Committee, which now leaves it up to the LOC to raise the remaining $600,000.00 on its own.

I can't believe it--it's the same weekend I bought a ticket to go visit my sister in NY. Gosh darn it--I was kind of looking forward to going. I went to 2002 and 2006 Nationals and it's always exciting to see the new Olympic team and meet up with MKFers.
