Good for Michael and Timmy!!! It looks good for both of them going into the LP on Thursday. The US might get 3 men for Worlds next year!!! Yay!!!

Michael could have been in second if he hadn't two footed his double axel. His presentation scores were higher than Plushenko.

Good for Mr. Weiss #3...wow.

Tim, I'm upset he's #9...I hope he moves up.

Well it looks like the favorite "Mr. Plushenko" isn't unbeatable....an omen for Michelle perhaps. <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :b --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/tongue.gif ALT=":b"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON STOP-->

Anybody know the details for elvis's scores? I feel bad for takeshi. He has had such an awful season.

The trip to worlds for tim didn't start out right. It started with his plane ride. I think he kind of knew things wouldn't turn out the way he wanted. Just have a feeling.

And I thought this season was weird.

Wow! I'm a little surprised (and impressed) by Weiss' placement. I wish Timmy had placed higher.
I'm going to check FSW for details...

Read Kelly's report on the men's SP so I thought I would share her info.

Weiss landed a clean quad, that's why he was in third. Abt didn't even attempt one, and Elvis went splat on his after doing an "awesome" 3a-3t. Shoot. Plushenko was absolutely clean and got a partial standing ovation, but Yagudin was in the zone -- supposedly everything was big, beautiful and perfect and the crowd was on their feet before his music even stopped. Huge crowd ovation, very happy Alexei and his coach. Big morale boost for him going into the LP.

Yes! Sorry for Elvis and Tim but HAPPY HAPPY for Yagudin and Weiss. Plushenko does nothing for me. I hope Elvis takes his place on the podium. Weiss isn't my favorite skater but I do think he deserved his National title and I think some people are a little too hard on him sometimes.
SW, you've got me ALL WORKED UP for Yagudin's new music and program(but I did like Broken Arrow)

I watched the short program today--sort of-- on EuroSport and Tim did a really nice
job. He was in 15th place going in, and he actually placed 7th in the
short, which helped him move up a bunch. He and Anthony Lieu were 1st and 2nd until
just before the last group skated. They hung on forever! I'm sure he was much
happier with his performance today.
