I bet MK did fall!!!...probably messed up on a combo too since the marks are like that!!!...but doesn't the whole panel of judges for all the events at Skate Canada seem like they are giving everybody low marks??? I bet something was fishy with the ice AGAIN!!!...

Karin

presentation 5.5??? LOL!!!...hello??? someone OK??? I must say I have to watch CTV tonight and see if it really was the ice again... since there was some problem with it last night...actually the whole week!!!...for the pairs...Debbi Wilkes said there is a lot of frost...rough!!! But hey...Alexei got a 5.5 for presentation too...so...I think all the judges were in a low-marks mood this week at Skate Canada... Just happy that MK won!!!

A 5.5! I am shocked! Anyway I guess there was a mistake or two made.

What's up with this judging that's pretty harsh there.

the combo....then if the axel or flip...that way we know it wasn't that she is having problems with those jumps...because she can do the triple toe in her sleep. :) Of course, I would rather have a perfect performance...but better now to get the jitters out then at Nationals or Worlds. :) Can't wait to see what is in store at Nationals and the GP final(Michelle will be there right?).

It's definitly the ice! Can you imagine Alexi Yagudin the Worlds Champion fell on a spiral he can do in his sleep! It is probably the same for the ladies LP!

Karin
November 7th, 1999, 11:33 AM
the whole week!!!...LOL...the ice was just awful!!! First the pairs were having trouble...CTV was saying that it's so unusual to have skaters fall on simple elements...(I mean...like entering a spin)!!!... then the men!!!...outa the top men...only Taekashi didn't fall!!!...and I know Dreamr...Alexei just lost his footing...I was like huh??? Too many holes and ruts!!!

Fell on the triple loop and doubled three other planned triples. No 3 toe-3 toe.

that it is a combination of the ice & MK's resulting mistakes. I was starting to worry!

Gotta give Michelle a lot of credit, the ice being as bad as it was, and she certainly didn't need it, but she was still gonna try the triple triple anyway!
