Dick is really mad about Sasha's score. But I think he is right for saying that we somehow take Michelle's perfect performance as granted, and we don't know how difficult it is for her to do that. Peggy also says that it is understandable for a skater to have her highs and lows with her skating. I am really happy that Michelle has won the championship.

Thanks, I'm glad Dick pointed that out about Michelle's artistry and difficulty being deceptive.

I'm so happy Michelle won. I watched all the programs but hers. I closed my eyes all the time but I taped it all though. I'll be able to sleep tight tonight. I admire Michelle so much that no matter what she'll always be #1 skater for me. I have this gut feeling that she'll do good in Worlds competition. I will watch the tape tonight and this time I will be more relax. I am proud to be one of you guys.

Button was saying he had no problem with placement but thought Sasha's mark were too low. I think judges left room for NNN.

Well Dick Button can take his ballerinas, comparision cr*p and shove it up his *ss. I'm sorry folks but Dick has been so annoying at this event. He's just pissed that he can't gushed over his new favorite little ice princess. And don't he dare insinuate that Sasha should have won!!! She's in second where she belongs...with the flutz, double footed flutz, and the fall. And the nerve of him to compare Sasha's artistry with Michelle. Even with Michelle's off day, her artistry is unrivaled. Sasha's need to mature a little more before people should compare them.

Does he actually think Sasha should have won? Is that it?

Gentle
February 12th, 2000, 06:27 PM
He didin't say that Sasha should have won but he said he gave the artistry to both Michelle and Sasha when they did the split sceen comparing these skater's skating quality. How dared he gave the artistry to Sasha aslo?! I would give only spins to Sasha and the jumps, fookwork and artistry went to MK!

I think what Dick meant was that if Sasha didn't fall on her triple toe, she could have won. I don't know if he knew that Sasha had double-footed one of her luzes when he made the statment, but Peggy did pick up on the double-footed landing.

For those of you who haven't seen it yet, Dick *was* kinda annoying, but he predicted at the start of the broadcast that MK would win, as did Peggy. At the end, he said that he *agreed* with the placements, but just thought that SC's specific scores were too low. Just so you know, I didn't think he acted at all like SC should've won. He just gets all excited over the future...but I felt that he totally agreed that MK should win. MK looked happy and VERY relieved in the interview. It was good...very very stressful, but a good competition. YEAY MICHELLE:0)!!!!!!!!!!!! WE LOVE YOU AND ARE SO PROUD OF YOU:0)!!!! Q:"How do you spell relief?" MKF A:"MK winning nationals, afterall!" hehe.

We are so proud of u!!! I am glad that she went for the 3loop.....rather than doubling it. I am disappointed that MK didn't deliver a perfect performance, but....oh well....she looks like she is tired....hope she can have more time for rest!! We love ya, MK!!

Seriously, I heard she had to take a midterm right before Nationals. That is not a good way to get yourself in gear for peak performance. Stress, all nighters, it's nice to say that all that stuff doesn't interfere with your performance, but I'm usually like a zombie the night before and after my midterms. (Of course I'm not Michelle) but still. You know, I think fast spins are cool and all, but I'm almost thinking that if Michelle were to spin any faster, it would look fast forward and kind of out of character with the music. I keep on thinking that she's completely capable of doing it, she doesn't because it interferes with the flow of her program.
