I don't know, but words can't describe the what I feel right now, I am soooo incredibly happy, but I will still be happy had she gotten silver or bronze....Michelle, as we know, is an incredible lady, she has a great desire for the sport, she is wonderful, inside and out and her skating speaks volumns! Congratulastion to our wonderful Michelle who fought and did the naysayers wrong....she showed them and she is there, she can do it and she WILL do it!

Congratulations to Michelle. My heart has grown leaps and bounds in admiration for Michelle...she is a champion, whether her title says so or not! Now, she is a double champion!

Way to go Michelle. Thanks for everything, for everything you have proved to us, thanks for giving us the message of NEVER giving up. You are a true fighter, a true champion...and we can only look up to you, no matter how tall or short, how old or young, and be in pure admiration of your talents!

MICHELLE KWAN, 2000 World Champ!!! Sweet!

I am so proud of you, this season has been tough with UCLA but you have come out and show us what you can do. This is truly a spectecular performance and you have given The Red Violin the performance it deserves. Way to go Girl!!!

And .... I TOLD YOU SO!!!!!!!!

Michelle--What is there left that I can say? I'm speechless. You are awesome and deserve the greatest respect of all the greatest athletes in the world.

You have overcome increasing technical difficulty in competition, a world which gets tired and bored quickly with status quo, a mega critical press that likes to destroy heros, naysayers, drawing poor skating start positions, and only gotten better.

At 19, you are the person I would like to be now, at 49. I am still a work in progress and it will take be another 50 or so years to be where you are as a person!

To say you are incredible is the understatement of the year. YOU ROCK!!!!! Congratulations!!!!

Congratulations, Michelle!!! You are a true fighter and a true champion!!! I admire what you are doing juggling skating and school and you've risen to the challenge - yet again. I'm especially ecstatic to read that you had a great performance with a standing ovation no less! I cannot wait to watch another magical performance like you've done so many times . . . it's an honor watching and following your legend unfold before my very eyes.

My heart was beating so fast when I went to check the free skate standings online. I played a really uplifting song and opened my blinds to let the light in...I had a good feeling despite being very adrenaline pumped. I knew MK could do it. I had faith in her and Irina in placing 1-2, and I'm ecstatic that my wishes came to be reality. I can't wait to see the free skate tonight to see Michelle's glorious free skate. It seems almost too good to be true. I now know how Tara probably felt when she when Olympic gold when no one thought she could do it. GO MICHELLE! I can't for tonights broadcast! I can't wait to see MK live on tour! I can't hardly wait!

I can't even begin to say how much of a joy it has been watching Michelle mature into a beautiful young woman!! Once again, she's silenced the naysayers and has proven why she belongs in this sport AND why she will be a legend in Women's figure skating! Her attitude on and off the ice is one that EVERYONE should strive to have! I'm so proud of Michelle, not that she won the gold medal, but that she stood tall! she didn't let the fact that she was in 3rd, or the outside negativity toward her, hold her down....OH NO, she went out there and did what she knew...what we ALL knew she could do, and that's go there and just skate her BEST!!! AND IT PAID OFF! I can't even wait to see it tonight!

CONGRADULATIONS MICHELLE! We are so happy for you and so proud of you. You are simply the best. I don't think that I could add much more then what everyone else has said here. Just keep having fun and enjoying your skating. I am looking forward to watching you at the 2002 Olympic's. You made my day brighter

WOW!! I took four of my graduating students to lunch, said a prayer, and kept my thoughts off the competition. I deliberately stayed away today because these past few days have been murder on my nerves. So, imagine my joy when I tenatively peeked to see the results. I was so happy for Michelle that I started crying, and I'm a grown and rational woman. Has this been a nerve racking week, or what? I'm much too old for this...

Someone who saw it actually used the word POSSESSED.
As in MK skating as if she was possessed.
