Wait til you read this--Michelle's boot separated again when she landed her triple loop during the qualifying, and she still pulled off that program! Is our girl on or what?

Whew..... That could have been disastrous. And what a fantastic job MK did even with the boot slightly separated during her performance!!! I really hope it is secure for the SP & LP, but then I am sure Danny will make certain it is!!

"Immediately afterward, she said: "I felt really at ease. ... I wanted to take this opportunity to do the triple-triple. I never think of backing down."

Just one of the many reasons I respect and admire this young woman so much.

What an extraordinary woman. Truly admirable. Glad Danny pulled an all-nighter, and praying that her boots are fine for the rest of the competition!

It's also nice to see the trust on confidence they have in each other as father and daughter.

So thankful that Michelle wasn't injured. Prayer works, folks. :-)

She continues to amaze me on and off the ice. She's really an extraordinary young lady. Not only is she blessed with the talent to skate, but she's also blessed to have such great parents.

God held that skate together.!!:)

LOL sorry it's just that I think it's so sweet how her dad stayed up all night to make sure her boot was okay! :)

AWWWWWWWWWWW! What a sweet dad!
Anyway I can't BELIEVE the heel separated while she was skating too! Yet she skated the best she has all season. I call that GUTS! I hope it's really secure now! :) :)
