Good for Todd. I can't tell how he did from the scores though. What in the world happened to Elvis. I question whether he will ever be the same again after the injury. I love Takashi's skating. I wish he weren't having troubles with his jumps. Anybody know how they skated?

Thanks, I'm assuming this was the short program. At first I thought it was the final results, until I saw the elements. Go Todd!

I was told no earlier than 2am.

Jordi, not sure whether to jump up and down happy or pace nervously!!

Stojko got 4TH in this competition with these skaters? That must be discouraging to him. I'm not a fan of his, but still, unless he had an injury, placing 4th among these skaters is embarrassing. I thought he should've gone professional after the 98 Olys, now I really think he should turn pro!

Oops...forget my previous comment on Stojko. I thought those were the final results, but it was the SP scores. Just looking at that field I couldn't imagine that Stojko didn't outskate that group. But, having said that....I still think he should go pro and forget the 2000 Olys.

I have to disagree I think he should stay elegible. The man was one of 3 or 4 men to land 2 quads a worlds last year and Yagudin won with only one quad not in combination. Stojko can still do the jumps and he has good footwork and decent spins. As long as he wants to keep going for it I will be cheering him on!!!

Shallah regreting she was GOOD at Skate Canada and that she didn't grab Elvis & tell him is *A*W*E*S*O*M*E* when he was walking from the arena after practice.....

Stojko must have fallen on either his quad or his triple axel combination in the SP to have received those technical marks. Admittedly, his marks in the LP were also less than impressive, but he still outperfomed Eldredge and a lot of the young guns who are supposedly on their way up.

I desperately wish (and yet despair of it at the same time) that he will change choreographers and stop skating to macho man music soundtracks, but even if he never wins another world or Olympic gold medal, Elvis still has a lot to offer eligible figure skating.

Wow, won't this be Elvis' 4th Olypics? Sheesh!
